Demand a “passing grade”? You’re not thinking big enough. If I were them, I’d DEMAND a degree Magna Cum Laude today without taking another class, writing another paper, or taking another exam.
Then I’d march right into the next Google Board meeting and DEMAND that I be named the new Chairmanof the Board at $100 million per year salary plus bonuses.
That’s what I would DEMAMD.
It seems that is exactly what they are demanding.

Oddly enough, this is actually the logical result of applying what the liberal/communist profs want for the rest of society. My comparative political systems prof in 1980 should have called his class "Soviet Communism Here and Now." He was all for "workers controlling the means of production" and all that. I should have told him that I agreed with him completely. In fact, students should control the means of production of grades. We could all voter ourselves "As" for the course and gone to the bar for some beers.
I wonder how he would have reacted to having his theories applied against him. It seems to me that is exactly what just happened at Berkley.
