You just put the do not disturb sign on the door and the maids don’t come in EVER till the sign is removed!!!
Exactly. I travel very frequently and that is my standard procedure upon entering the room, to put out the Do Not Disturb sign. I will take it down maybe once a week if on extended stay to replenish towels and freshen the room. I just don't want strangers in my room, period.
I guess that luxury is fixing to change though.

I always leave that sign on the door when I’m at a hotel, no matter if I’m inside or away. I can make my own bed.
Maids can get around that. Just remove the do not disturb sign. Act like you never saw it.
