Let me correct that to a true statement for you. Goldberg is worried about the maintaining the flow of illegal aliens and sees Moore as a threat to that.

Actually Goldberg's position is more nuanced than that regarding Moore, but you have to skip/ignore the Gladiator stuff to get there.

He's essentially calling Moore a conservative religious bigot cloaking himself in populist rhetoric to appeal to Trump voters while pursuing his own agenda.

Luther Strange would have made a more reliable Trump ally.

I’d say that’s a kinda naive comment, because it assumes that people have actually read the article. Trouble is, reading the articles is seriously frowned upon around here.
