Activity like this usually involves advance teams going to the recipient to facilitate the deed. Whoever authorized the receipt should have been the target of the complaint, ie, her boss! If there was no advance work, then the lesson would be to do the work next time.

You caught that as well; Cesar did not like illegal immigrants.

And Dr. Seuss was a big liberal. Yes he was one of those that really started attacking the isolationists after his beloved Soviet Union was invaded.

Bet she’s a big fan of “The Rainbow Fish”, the most subversive children’s book ever created.

The list of books the Nazis burned I always thought was odd. The fascist mind is puzzling. I guess paranoia makes one see threats everywhere.

I wonder what will happen if someone finds any “subtle, systemic racism” in “Heather has Two Mommies” or “Daddy’s Roommate”.

They’ve closed comments on any of her current mutterings re: the books.
I had to go back to a 12/2016 muttering, which they will probably delete or close comments.

It looks like the Obama’s were racists, too. Reading that racist Dr. Seuss to unsuspecting children... how could they?

I’m going to check on those two books that she mentions tomorrow. If there is racial mockery there, I will see it.
It exists in other books, older ones mostly. Subconsciously of course. Ever notice that in the movie Pinocchio the carpenter and the bad guy are both Italian but the bad guy has a really heavy Italian accent? Disgrazia!

The proper response to a gift is thank you.
If Dr. Suess "triggers" her, kindly give the books to a deserving child who will read them.

I find it comical that supposed Conservatives on an ostensibly Conservative forum are defending a known Communist like Theodore Geisel. Even when I was a kid I didn’t care for Dr. Seuss.

Even so, we still struggle to close the achievement gap,
retain teachers of color, and
dismantle the systemic white supremacy in our institution. But hell, we test well! And in the end, it appears that data and not children are what matters
