They don’t see us as sober customers, but as addicts to their opiate of the masses. And you can hardly blame them after all fans is short for fanatics.

They figured they got us so hooked on what they’re pushing that we’ll keep buying their stuff.

And you know something the verdict is still out on whether they’re right or wrong.

So far quite a few addicts are abstaining, but will they weaken and get sucked back in?

You are so right. I am astounded at the angst I’ve seen from people who can’t bring themselves to just not watch. It’s a freaking game! It’s tv life, not real life!

The NFL will lose some fans, it's mostly a question of how many. And some fans will come and go depending on their level of disgust with the antics of the players, owners and league officials.

I hope they lose enough of their audience to take a serious financial hit for all who are feasting on the NFL gravy train.
