There are undoubtedly smart ones out there.

But that dumbo is not included in the Venn Diagrams that show the intersection of smart and basketball.

Tom MacMillan was a Rhodes Scholar. Of course, he went on to be a Dem Congresscritter.

One drive time talk show host went to UNC. Lived in the "basketball dorm" for a while, and he keeps up with them. Watching a game a few years ago, he said UNC students held up a sign saying "[star player of our opponent] CAN'T READ THIS SIGN".
