A school bake sale organized by an on-campus activist group charged students based on their ethnicity, sparking critique and backlash at the University of New Mexico.
Turning Point USA — which is not yet recognized as an official student organization — on Thursday doled out desserts in what they called “An Affirmative Action Bake Sale,” with prices for products varying based on the customer’s race.

With a 2% Asian, 2.5% black, 27% white and 56% Hispanic population. They’re going to have a hard time with those sales figures.
Plenty of them are only there because of gender quotas; when white women are no longer considered “disadvantaged” (a situation that enrages entitled blacks), then they will also oppose affirmative action. For the time being, they are beneficiaries - but only in the short run. They get free degrees and token jobs, but in the end their family trees end when they can’t find a partner for breeding. Too many of those potential partners have been economically marginalized by those very same policies...

I’d say that’s racist towards Asians. I’d say this is how it is for real in many places in the world. And, I’d also say, it’s racial profiling based on the seller’s interpretation of someone’s race. What if a Hispanic person has blond hair? are they charged the white or the Hispanic rate? What about mixed blood people? Do they get to choose or is that the arbitrary opinion of the seller?
Expel the students - in the EU they’d be arrested.
Wrong, like affirmative action.
The ones most angry about this are the ones that benefit the most from affirmative action.
