This is very smart of the Steelers. More teams should do the same. Lots of college teams do this. Staying in the tunnel doesn’t give the players the opportunity to make idiots of themselves.
This is NOT a smart move. Timing is everything and even the most politically oblivious sports fans are aware of the issue, and this will be considered disrepecful to the majority of citizens that cherish the national anthem and their country.
If college teams have been doing this all along, it was before Trump went public with his comments.
I love Trump for doing this because it puts not just the NFL on defense but also the fake stream media. Now they have to defend unpatriotic Patriots billionaire owners such as Kraft, and multi millionaire thug players that have richly or bigly benefited from American prosperity.
