I disagree. The national anthem at sporting events is about celebrating the unity under freedom's banner of this nation prior to the "combatants" taking the field to win or lose. The issue is that the teams (and by extension, the league) do not care about their customers enough to even feign allegiance to a shared idea - freedom, as espoused by the Constitution.

Consider that this latest SJW stunt of pro players "protesting" on behalf of aggrieved people they have never met, much less been, is simply a ploy to make "normal" people feel guilty for offenses they never committed, then Trump is most surely correct in his statements. These players do not deserve so much as a dime of the fans' money.

Agreed. I went to a hockey game this week and one of the teams was from Canada. Both anthems played and the players and fans stood for both anthems out of respect. No booing, no kneeling, no remaining seated.
