I read the article and believe it. But the liberal author seems to believe that black people are inferior and incapable of making anything of themselves, therefore it is the duty of the rest of us to take care of them. I believe That is racist, and if they are given everything THAT is what makes them inferior. Even animals understand cause and effect.

This was one grown man punching another. If you take away the titles and races, it was a common fist fight. Do you really think people should go to prison over a fist fight?

It was a fist fight. I think police and prisons have much more serious criminals to spend their limited resources on.
Fist fights shouldn't result in prison time, unless some SERIOUS injuries occur. Black eye? Nah.
The only reason the judge sided with the kid is because the victim was white.

It’s definitely a paternalistic (or maternal) mindset towards minorities aka soft bigotry. This is where their stupid “white guilt” comes into play.
The judge is black. The principal was probably white. The kid probably did what the judge wanted to do herself.

This wasn’t a “common fist fight”. The Principal was cold cocked — he never hit back. This was assault and battery, plain and simple — and, yes, people should be locked up for that.
Sounds like a variation of the n-word “knockout” game. Whitney wasn’t expecting it... Was distracted and hit with the sucker punch.
Luis Penzo is a thug, and this may have been his last chance. I’d be willing to give good odds on him ending up dead within three years. It’s a shame his family and now the judge didn’t do a better job with him, but, given what he has become, a coffin is the right place for him.
That’s for sure.
