The NFL is not paid for “all the good they do”.
That’s the off-field stuff that receives little attention, save for the recent JT Watts efforts.
They are paid to play football, which doesn’t qualify as an objective “good act”.
Well except that in reality, rather than in theory, that’s what they get their bucks for.
They are celebrities not just actors. They openly wooed this. Now that some of the members have taken it on themselves to carry out controversial acts, the whole idolatry system is close to coming into question.
