Robert Muellers sprawling special-counsel investigation is playing hardball.
It was not enough to get a search warrant to ransack the Virginia home of Paul Manafort, even as the former Trump campaign chairman was cooperating with congressional investigators. Muellers bad-asses persuaded a judge to give them permission to pick the door lock. That way, they could break into the premises in the wee hours, while Manafort and his wife were in bed sleeping. They proceeded to secure the premises of a man they are reportedly investigating for tax and financial crimes, not gang murders and Mafia hits by drawing their guns on the stunned couple, apparently to check their pajamas for weapons.

Why is this worth pointing out? Because someday, maybe, well get around to asking: What would have happened if Hillary Clintons very real email scandal with its mountainous evidence of felony mishandling of classified information and destruction of government records had been investigated with the no-holds-barred vigor Mueller and his band of Hillary donors are applying to the surmise of Trump collusion in Russian espionage?
This is ‘Swamp Justice’. We’re in ‘Banana Republic’ country now.
Must read at the source and thanks! For posting!
,,,,,,, all the while Hillary and her minions safe and free to continue their corrupt existence .
This is Swamp Justice. Were in Banana Republic country now.
_______
Probably have been for a long, long time. Mask is off. Gloves are off.
Without the bananas ...
When the swamp was not drained and in fact swamp facilitators were put in charge of key parts of the government by Trump himself, all was lost. Nothing ever changes in DC.

There is no excuse for the use of these kinds of tactics. This is intimidation/terrorism, pure and simple.
Too bad Mueller and his staff of Clinton lawyers won’t be on the receiving end of such a raid. Just imagine what such a raid might reveal.

All of these people should have been fired the next day.
Manafort doesn’t appear to be an idiot. If he had/has any business records at his residence by the time the Gestapo raided his house - with all the warning signs that they were coming - then he is by definition an idiot.
AG Sessions will be remembered as the weakest,
sniveling, most cowardly, most crypto-but-pro-Clinton AG
in US history.
He has done NOTHING to make the DOJ less corrupt.
NOTHING.
If AG Sessions still had an active brainwave he would be investigating Mueller for conflict of interest, misuse of public funds, and exceeding his authority as special prosecutor.
The FBI is being/has been turned into a partisan political weapon for use against the trump administration. Time to start de-funding.
First thought was that there is something they want he keeps on his person... Investigation-related or not.
Goods on someone else perhaps.
We lost this place several decades back... Somewhere around 1000 points of light.
Manafort had literally months to anticipate the raid. It would not surprise me if he planted hundreds of fake leads and documents which are simply red-herrings. Mueller could be wasting two years on documentation that he eventually discovers to be ‘fake’.
Good picture.
“Too bad Mueller and his staff of Clinton lawyers wont be on the receiving end of such a raid. Just imagine what such a raid might reveal.”.
Never say “never” because like “Yogi” used to say, “It ain’t over ‘till the fat lady sings”. This entire circus could be turned around on Mueller and his demodummie ilk should SOMEONE decide to do a reversal.
