Mueller Scorches the Earth

Robert Muellers sprawling special-counsel investigation is playing hardball.
It was not enough to get a search warrant to ransack the Virginia home of Paul Manafort, even as the former Trump campaign chairman was cooperating with congressional investigators. Muellers bad-asses persuaded a judge to give them permission to pick the door lock. That way, they could break into the premises in the wee hours, while Manafort and his wife were in bed sleeping. They proceeded to secure the premises of a man they are reportedly investigating for tax and financial crimes, not gang murders and Mafia hits by drawing their guns on the stunned couple, apparently to check their pajamas for weapons.

Trump has looked at the 100’s of unjustified unmaskings and illegal leaks. I’m sure he is appalled as any American would be. Sessions and Coates just wrote a letter to Congress asking them to permanently reauthorize section 702. Part of MAGA is making sure the abuse doesn’t happen again. I’m not sure what this admin can do to prevent abuses in the future, but they have to do something.

This use of force is prosecutorial misconduct. Find a judge to kick his butt and get him investigated for conflicts. Obviously he’s playing for the other team, probably having committed various use-of-evidence violations and document security felonies in the process.

The federal judges are cowards.
They accept lies from the DO”J” every day
as they crush Americans and LET THE CORRUPT GO FREE.
If ANYONE expected Session or Trump to do anything
except grovel to the Swamp and DNC and corruption,
they better wake up and pay attention.

I agree with your take on what Mueller is attempting to do. I see the whole legal process being turned upside down in an effort to build enough legal ambiguity to enable the democrats to obstruct justice. They will never spend a day in confinement at any facility for any crime. At the same time they are putting the full force of govt against President Trump at every level to find something, anything, that they can blow into a prosecutable offense. The end result will be a trade off where the criminals of the Obama administration will be off the hook for any legal consequence and America's legitimately elected President Trump will have been delegitimized as much as possible but remains standing. For the time being. The Republican party establishment is on notice that President Trump is the last hope for a two party system of govt. They will be gone if they continue to work against this president who has the support of millions of American voters.

"If the government won't do it, then why not an armed citizenry?"
Why indeed, but it would either need to be a very large group of citizens or a few who did not care about the consequences.

Its clear that his mission (orders from the Swamp) is to get TrumpHis mission, which is unquestionably from the Swamp, is to get Trump to fire him.
This will allow Ryan (Romney) and McConnell (Bush) to drop their masks and announce, "with a heavy heart", that Trump has to go.

“THIS JUST IN-— Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley announced plans to subpoena two senior FBI officials..”
Grassley immediately followed this by saying, “after I check with Senator Feinstein”
If you are waiting for these subpoenas to be signed off by the ranking Member of the Judiciary Committee, you’d better pack a lunch.

A classic pincer attack. If Mueller can’t get him the GOP leadership will.
