Refresh my memory. What was the threat to North Korea that prompted a need for nuclear weapons? Seems to me that started out as a desire for nuclear energy to generate electricity. The rest was a long journey along appeasement road.
The older Kims, daddy and grand daddy were nut cases too; but nothing compared to this guy. Yes, the last 3 administrations dropped the ball on this problem but I doubt anyone foresaw this lunatic coming about.
I’m surprised the BBC hasn’t come up with a suitable epithet for the Fat Boy, something like, Uncle Joe’s “Darling Nephew”.
