So, what is keeping them from sending this exact same bill to President Trump?

“Six Republicans Who Voted for Obamacare Repeal in 2015 Sank the ‘Clean Repeal’ Bill Today”

http://reason.com/blog/2017/07/26/six-republicans-who-voted-for-obamacare/amp

07/26/2017

“In 2015, when presented with a bill that would have repealed much of Obamacare’s taxes and regulations, Senate Republicans were eager to send a political message. Though the bill would be vetoed by then-President Barack Obama, 52 Republicans voted “aye.”

With 48 of those 52 senators still in office, the Senate on Wednesday could muster only 45 votes in favor of a “clean repeal” of Obamacare. Six senators who voted for the 2015 bill voted against the repeal effort.”

“REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS PROMISE OBAMACARE REPEAL”

http://www.newsweek.com/republicans-congress-obamacare-519257?amp=1

November 9, 2016

Republican leaders in Congress have a long list of agenda items they want to pursue after Donald Trump becomes president, and repealing Obamacare is one of the most important.

“It’s a pretty high item on our agenda,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told reporters at a press conference in the Capitol Wednesday afternoon. “And I would be shocked if we didn’t move forward, keeping our commitment to the American people.”

House Speaker Paul Ryan likewise reiterated House Republicans’ commitment to repealing the 2010 law. “This Congress, this House majority, this Senate majority has already demonstrated, has already proven we’re able to pass that legislation and put it on the president’s desk,” Ryan noted during a press conference in Wisconsin.
