Would an NFL team go out of business if it sold less than 5000 tickets per game? How does that work? Would it be bailed out by the league or a governing body?
I recently re-watched the 1980s remake of The Twilight Zone series. Ugh. Hollywood’s failure goes back at least 30 years.
“Most of America had better things to do than watch a privileged cabal of left-wing, coastal one-percenters preening indulgently about their progressivism.”
This American did! ;) I honestly can’t remember the last time I watched any of those award shows. Probably when I was in High School in the mid-70’s. I’ve been a little busy since then, LOL!
That photo is so white it’s blinding.
I think “Portlandia” won something, which vindicates the Emmys somewhat. Somewhat.
Lookit at all that white privilege in the picture—
Which is really strange since they always tell outsiders how much they love & embrace Diversity!
Bono - Aging Irish arena rocker propped up by the left for his comedy political stylings.
Randy Jackson - Isn't he the fat black guy from early American Idol?
Pharrell Williams - Some gay rapper guy, I think. "Happy?" Didn't he do that one?
Adam Levine - Some talent show dude that used to be in a boy band.
Shailene Woodley - Who?
“When I was a kid I spit out watermelon seeds. As I grew up, I avoided pieces of watermelon with the most seeds in it, and then I was able to purchase watermelons without seeds. I now only buy watermelons without the seeds I once could only avoid.”
I grew up on a little farm in watermelon country, we used to eat watermelons rather than drink water during the harvest. Half the fun is spitting out the seeds.
I made a perfect score, I have no idea who any of those clowns are. I do recognize them as clowns though.
I work at a university....their religion is diversity.
However, in the department where I worked previously, it was wall to wall white women (including me). I was there 15 years and there were never any men... the women where horrid and brought all their personal problems in to work with them, they were accountable to NO ONE and the place was a nightmare, filled with their drama and BS. I was glad to leave and get moved to my new office.
That’s why their films and shows are so terrible. The industry requires conformity and there is no creativity as a result.
