Kudos to him. Endurance cycling is a beautiful sport (except when you’re doing it) and he has earned a spot in its top ranks.
Did my first century 2 summers ago. Choke and puke for the last 10 miles.
Can’t imagine doing 240 a day on 5 hours of sleep.
The first time I tried a century I dropped out after about 70 miles. It felt like somebody was jabbing knives into my thighs.
