It’s not political suicide. That’s a bit overdramatic. But it is sloppy and lame just like picking huntsman for ambassador to Russia. Mistakes happen even with trump.
I suspect that the reason such things happen is because he’s doing his best to try and work with this assh*le infested useless party.

I don’t think it was a mistake and I believe it would not have been done if DJT thought it would put Senator Odd over the top. I would not be surprised if Trump suggested to Sarah that she might go down to Alabama.
