We used to handle cases like this by flying with a US Public Health nurse. The nurse would administer a sedative that would knock out the deportee for hours. There were times, on longer flights, where the deportee would get another injection while en route to his home country. Worked well, had a quiet flight and never had a problem. Unfortunately, the practice was discontinued by the previous administration. They need to bring it back.

Why wouldn't it be better to have him beaten during the entire flight?
