>There are a lot of federal troops within half a days ride of Washington, not to mention millions of armed Trump supporters.
True, but the left is pretty confident that they won’t mobilize. They may counting on air power/drones to prevent it. They’ll brand anyone trying to stop Trump’s removal as a Nazi.
>The lesson of the French Revolution, the Iron Curtain and other such situations is that enough armed civilians trumps any security you might have. 100,000 people with weapons would sweep away the Secret Service, the DC and Capitol police and any military on hand.
You’ve got it backwards. The French Revolution required the army to switch sides to take the Bastille after a mob of thousands failed to take it. The fall of the Iron Curtain required the military to stand down in order for the people to win. Where they didn’t stand down as in China they were slaughtered.
If I have pretend president Hillary Clinton in my custody at the White House you’re going to use aerial bombs on me? Have at it.
