Still don’t understand the Dems on this. If the wall won’t work, why does it matter? Just consider it an infrastructure bill like the bridge to no-where and move on. [they know it WILL work, of course - certainly not eliminate it but cut down 50%+]
It does not matter whether the liberal swampdwellers actually believe the wall will work or not. The objective is to get Trump to agree to an ever smaller increment, while dangling some sort of bait to draw him in even further, and therefore, eventually totally co-opt him as was done with Arnold Schwartzenegger in California, who started out with all the seemingly right conservative principles, then was (not so) gradually assimilated by the California Borg.
There has to be an unbelievable amount of $$$$$$$ in the cheap labor express. Yes the Democrats want the votes, but still I think money is what really talks to them. I have said illegal immigration will end up being the biggest fight of all- with all the serious issues and divide I still think illegal immigration/border security will be the tough one to get done.
