"I dont think Id mind if Tillerson stayed. But I want everyone else at State to be fired" Agree. I think Trump can keep Tillerson on the reservation. It's those under him that's the problem. Sadly, only those who are appointed can be fired. Union rules protect the rest. Blame unionization of federal employees on JFK and his 1962 Executive Order 10988 which allowed fed emps to unionize. Being this was an EO seems to me that Trump could rescind it. Talk about pigs squealing! Would shut down the government but would that be a bad thing? Think not, lol! Would be fun to watch 😉...

I don't think it would be bad at all to rescind unionization of federal employees.
There is nothing like having a disciplinary problem with an employee that cannot be addressed without seeking legal counsel first. Even if the boss does not want to punish the employee, but only to make clear that there are certain legal boundaries that govern both boss and employee. The unions complicate everything needlessly, and some employees are very prone to run off to complain to the union at the slightest problem.

Since it is an EO, recind it.
What a perfectly grand idea. It would help in all areas...maybe I could call some WashDC offices and get someone who doesn’t speak ebonics. My, what a thrill that would be.

“Sadly, only those who are appointed can be fired.”
Can they be transferred, no loss of salary, but transferred out of the State Department?
The State Department was infiltrated in the 30’s and 40’s by socialists. That’s the reason we find the State Department’s actions continually undermine the interest of the US.

I think Trump can keep Tillerson on the reservation. Why should he have to? Much better to have a guy who's actually with the program.
