MOM - IN THE CONDADO AREA - LAST TEXT AT 7:30AM: Broken windows, brutal rain and wind; holed up in the bathroom with neighbor; water coming inside the apartment; trying to stay away from any flying debris & water coming into apartment.
DAD - IN OLD SAN JUAN - LAST TEXT AT 11:00AM: Rain and wind of Biblical proportions; I’ve never seen anything like this; your grandmother’s apartment is a total loss; we’re all holed up in a hotel and we’ll try to survey our other apartment tomorrow; not sure anything was saved - our windows only hold 120mph winds. We have our lives!
How are you doing CLL?
Thanks for this report. If he says that it’s of Biblical proportions, then the effect of this hurricane will be as predicted. Please keep sending updates as you receive them. Glad at least they’re protected so far.
Thank you for your family updates. This has been an excruciatingly harrowing experience for them—and for you. Hoping that PR cell service is functioning and you soon get another update from your Mom. Early reports 100% of PR without electricity.
Glad you parents are updating you and survived the night.
