Look how steep the north shore is, all the way out into the water. One major watershed NE of the summit too. They’ll be getting it from uphill and down.

Was thinking the same thing. And the storm is moving only 9mph. Plenty of rainfall at all elevations.

Long N-S ridge will back up the surge runup, and the E-W ridge and scalloped shoreline will shoulder it right. Only saving grace I see is the short reach and duration of the Cat 5 winds.
