I really enjoyed this article about the children in “The Sound of Music”.
“A giant helicopter came at me sideways with a very brave cameraman hanging out [its] side,” said the 81-year-old. “Every time he went around me, the downdraft from the jets would fling me down into the grass.”
I read your FB post about this earlier, and yes, it was a really nice interview. They had to film so long, its not surprising that the children grew - lol.
How embarrassing that the female movie reporter didn’t know who Pauline Kael was though. Maybe I just assumed that they routinely covered movies, maybe not.
