MLB has learned its lesson the hard way also. After the 1994 strike, many fans gave up and even now (23 years later) haven’t returned. Now the players and ownership love the fans, give away baseballs like crazy and do lots of things to make nice with the fans. BUT, fans have long memories and expectations that it might all go back to the way it was before, so F*** MLB!
...here’s hoping the Detroit Lions’fans stop showing up as well, no wait, I forgot, 60 consecutive years of losing and they STILL show up, no hope...
