My degree was in Music too! So there’s hope that I can one day be an important executive in a Fortune 500 company!
If the person was qualified by equivalent work experience I think its unimportant their degree was outside the field.
I was a drop-out. In the later part of my career the engineers, architects, CPAs and lawyers often worked at my direction and on my staff.
