Minot is why I joined the Navy, cant get stationed in North Dakota when you join the Navy! (I am from ND)
Maybe not the regular navy, but there was a Naval Reserve Center in Fargo near where I grew up. Dad was in the reserve because he had a special skill in short supply. He could never tell me why the Navy needed veterinarians and I don’t know to this day.
