“People who actually work for a living would not be able to get away with this farce.”
there’s no other major U.S. corporation that would allow employees acting as official representatives to publicly and repeatedly express such anti-American views. Anyone attempting that would be immediately fired.
It’s beyond me why the NFL allows this.
NFL: not on in my house yet this season. I don’t care to watch the crap on and off the field. It is not entertaining. If I want to see true athletic performance, I will go to the Ballet. The music is usually great too!
It really is so mixed a situation on this. The players of the NFL, having such notoriety and wealth, could do other things to do their “protest.” One which it appears no two of them no what it is, but insist upon standing on the backs of those hundreds of thousands of troops that gave their all for the right for these under educated, spoiled, brat children to do something stupid.
Well, children, here’s a message from a long time activist for race relations you might know:
Former Browns running back and NFL Hall of Famer Jim Brown, a noted social activist during his time, said the players should stand during the anthem and not “disrespect the flag.”
And this guy was around when it was really bad. I know. I was there. He left the NFL to do movies and in the middle of a contract for two years at $120,000. Maybe he could tell you something you over fed babies. But you are so in yourselves you wouldn’t listen. And not listening to other’s logic makes you half a man. Anda few steps down on the food chain.

Is that normal on opening weekend?
The Longest Yard...forever!
NFL Week 1 and I am “0’fer” (just saw about 5 minutes of the Pats/Chiefs game). Owners are going to get a wake up call when it is time renegotiate the TV contracts...that combined with empty seats is going to put a hurt on their revenue.

With luck, in five years, NFL salaries will match the average for other college dropouts. That would be real social justice.
Looks like Seattle is now off my potential watch list for the season. Might end up watching under 5 games this year....
The NFL coulda and shoulda stopped this the first time it happened.
Instead, they chose to insult their fans rather than the players....this will harm them in the long run.
A true boycott of WATCHING the games isn’t going to happen, the way to REALLY hit the league is to refuse to buy ANY merchandising and to boycott ALL outside programming (pregame, postgame, etc.).
And remember kiddies, this protest isn’t about the police, it’s about an idiot QB (anyone who thinks Castro is a hero is too stupid to be a QB) and his RACIST girlfriend trying to make themselves important by HATING WHITE PEOPLE and disguising it as a protest against the police.
Thanks.
I wonder if you can be arrested by bringing tomatoes and other veggies and tossing them at the players. Out of disrespect of course.
