Still no power at home. Just returned from a drive to charge phone a little and to recon. Melbourne and Beachside almost completely dark. Business district and some neighborhoods in Palm Bay/West Melbourne lit up and open for business. But tens of thousands without here tonight.
We’re still dark and steamy warm. They are getting close here. Saw traffic lights working a couple of miles away since 6pm. FPL message says: on site...whatever that means...
Dang. Any chance of getting a generator somewhere? I know how frustrating it is, and hot. After Charley I had no power for 2 weeks. Lost water too. Keep us posted on progress.
