I was at Keesler in 1983, and went to see Jefferson Davis’ house in Pass Christian, MS. Do I recall correctly that it was destroyed by Katrina?

Sorry about the late post.

Been out of action for a bit and had to back up.

The Beauvoir estate suffered major tree damage during that storm (Elana) but all was cleaned up. I ended up in a Veterans Graveyard because I was pretty handy with a chainsaw.

We were served lunch by the caretaker everyday. She would put the plates out on tombstones.

She said they appreciated our effort. :^)

Now to answer your question. 4 million was put back into the home to get it to 1852 standards after Katrina.

I understand it is just as it stood, and shall remain so.
