I went to lower my clam shell storm shutters, and they’re jammed tight. If there’s a lot of wind surges out of the south, I’m worried my windows will blow out. That would be a mess.

The old saying goes: If it's stuck, WD-40, if it's broke, then duct tape. Take care spraying WD-40 in these winds--consider a mask and goggles.

Can't imagine your frustration to have the shutters, and one is being a brat.

My garage door spring broke one time with hurricane looming. Door was jammed halfway open. Garage door guy came right out before the serious winds arrived.
