At this point whether the dad did it or not doesn’t matter to this tragedy. This kid was already bullied in violent manner on line for having a conservative father. To have the accusation was bad enough for this young man.
Children including adult children should not be fair game. America needs to agree, all of us, that conservatives’ children also should be spared bullying because of their parents’ views.
This is an occasion where President Trump could mention this in a speech or rally. Simply slip in “I want to say something about what I see happening to the children, including the adult children, of prominent conservatives. Bullying and mocking people for the opinions of their parents should always be seen as wrong by every American. We all agree already that the sons and daughters of prominent people on the left didn’t ask for their parents’ prominence or their opinions. We grant them the privacy and respect all Americans deserve. We used to say famously in this country that we might disagree with someone’s opinion wholeheartedly, but we would defend to the death his right to say it. We need to give the children of conservatives the same respect we grant the children of liberals.”
Oh! I agree that it needs to be spoken about publicly and dang the consequences. President Trump is just the person to do it. He’s used to the slings and arrows.
I don’t think I’ll get over Eric Bolling’s former coworkers not speaking out about his grief - cowards all! They should be ashamed of themselves.
I told a friend in the state of WA about it today on the phone and since she doesn’t have internet or email, she was unaware of WHO Eric Bolling is but thought it despicable. She listens to Rush faithfully and is anxious to see if he will talk about it tomorrow.
I may or may not be able to listen as I have a check list going for this storm rampaging north toward us - I GUESS. Not as easy to listen to Rush here on the East Coast as it was to listen to him at my desk in CA at 9 ‘til noon...But I sure hope he’s not going to ignore the story. Sad as it is, it really is a story that people have to hear and think about!!!
