Politically, he can't fire him after half even the Repubs in the House threatened war on Trump if he did. He also doesn't want to be seen trying to influence justice. Trump is stuck in a hole politically surrounded by enemies. Best he can do is complain on Twitter and ask why Hillary, et al are not being pursued while he is subjected to a witch hunt.
Senate committee is going to subpoena Sessions and Wray on why the FBI/DOJ are refusing to turn over the Comey memos to the committee and I hope Sessions and Wray don't refuse as I am very interested in hearing why Trumps interests are being stonewalled by his own appointees.

Really? The Repubs in the House have been at full-fledged war with Trump since before the inauguration. He’s got nothing to lose.
Maybe Trump’s hand can be strengthened next November.
