Funny how things can change with age. I remember as a young boy thinking off the shoulder dresses looked odd, like they weren’t completely on or something. Within a couple of years the sight of long auburn hair cascading over beautiful female shoulders would make me weak in the knees. Still does.

Boys normally learn the kind of affirming grace before females that later blossoms into adult romance, at their mother’s kind knee.

Get a woman who is a harridan and a sensitive son and this is knocked all jabberwocky. He will seek affirmation of his self in all manner of distorted milieus.
