In an upcoming episode of the Australian "60 Minutes," a 12-year-old transgender boy details how he began the transition to a become a girl, only to change his mind two years later.
As a young child, Patrick Mitchell had always wanted to be a girl, the Independent reported. "You wish you could just change everything about you, you just see any girl and you say, ‘I'd kill to be like that,'" Mitchell told interviewers.
After speaking with doctors, Mitchell was diagnosed with gender dysphoria and began taking estrogen hormones in anticipation of a full transition. Mitchell grew out his hair and the treatment caused the prepubescent boy to grow a pair of breasts.

Gender dysphoria is among a collection of identity dysphoria MENTAL PROBLEMS.
Instead of giving in to the mental problem with a “fix” for a body that has noting wrong with it, ALL the sympathy, parental and professional effort should be given to supporting all efforts that will help a child with the “gender dysphoria” obsession move away from it.
The mind can be repaired to dump the obsession. The body is never truly “fixed” to match it, and what constitutes “transgender” surgery is actually physical mutilation of a body that is not “wrong”.
Yes, the mind is capable of lying to us.
And why would parents help a lie that has taken hold in their child as an obsession obtain their consent to torture their child’s body for the rest of their life.
THAT is the root cause. Real parents know how to say NO. and HELL NO!

OK< so he grew a [air of breasts. That is relatively easy to correct later as male are born with the ‘breast’ anatomy which will never develop like a female’s breasts.
However, I have always wondered whether males dwho transition to females actually develop female anatomical features. As a woman, I can tell you that there is a reason why old timers referred to menstruation as a ‘curse’. Does a 14 year-old boy really understand the process that women go through every month? I doubt it.
A cousin of mine who is now deceased used to say that there ought to be a way to just ‘turn off’ menstruation after the number of children have been born. Of course she was being facetious as medical procedures can now do that. Her other favorite statement was that she “always knew God was a male since if he was female, he would never have created such an abomination as menstruation for women.” We always laughed at that one.
Interesting thing here is that the story of this boy’s decision to revert to accepting his maleness is actually being told on a national TV show. I just hope the estrogen therapy has not damaged his male development and created a sterile adult.
