Good observation, guess that high from the north was slightly stronger thus winning out and closed escape routes that would of pushed the thing more to the east (Of course avoiding CONUS and Bahamas).

This is becoming a nightmare made worse by what happened to those affected by Harvey. The budget battle (Fiscal year ends in a little over 20 days) is going to be interesting. Texas and FL budgets are going to suffer big time as well.
