I figure we will get hit with CAT2 winds if Irma comes right up the middle of the state.
Our house is a very low to the ground stone bungalow as are the majority of homes in our neighborhood. It was built in 1950 so it’s survived all manner of hurricanes over the years. During Matthew last year our power stayed on the whole time. Hopefully this storm will be the same in that regard.
I’m prepared either way.

110-115 mph in our area, we lost a patio roof and a couple of trees but the house rode it out like a champ. Hope that's a good sign for you!
