You know, something that’s a bit of a carryover from the Harvey threads and discussion of people on roofs and such...

I’m sure it is different for each situation, but I wonder if anyone has ever graphed storm surge levels and wind velocity vs. time at various locations near shorelines as a hurricane approaches and passes. Of course, if a tornado is involved, or the storm stalls as Harvey did, such information would not be too useful, but I saw on I believe the preceding thread here, someone suggesting to climb up on the roof via ladder if it floods. In hurricane force winds or even tropical storm force winds - they have to be kidding.
