I wonder what this new track would do to the St. Johns River?

Well the fact Jacksonville is right there in the concave with Georgia and S. Carolina ....and dirtboy shared about that area could well have very serious storm surges I suspect St.Johns River would indeed increase substantially. The water has to go somewhere and the Bay certainly is right there to do just that.

Too close for comfort with family members there..though high and dry you just can’t tell with this beast rolling!

There are now evacuations around the river in certain zone areas in Jacksonville....if you check elevation maps you can find the zones and if or not your area is in danger and degree of.

My brother’s place is above the evacuation zones...but then he did check this before buying his property and where they would look for their home since Florida gets hurricanes. However he’s ready to leave if it comes to that...right now they still intend to hunker down.
