I did careful calculation this am how much to take off close hedge to leave extra layer of protection but yet not do damage. My positive-thinking neighbor was setting out fertilizer :o)
Landscape fertilizer is banned in many FL counties until Oct. During the rainy season, the fertilizer is washed away before it can be absorbed.
