Per one of the WX channels Most recent hurricane hunter flight clocked max winds of 120mph. Big drop. Whatever. It’ll restrengthen once it leaves cuba.
Heard that too. The rub is our planes are limited as to how far south they can fly due to Cuba’s restricted airspace. So they can’t go all the way into the storm like they need to until it clears Cuban territory.
Exactly,IMHO,this has been one really tough hurricane to forecast,consensus of opinons I have read suggest it will strengthen over the straits but at this point who really knows.
Thing is 120mph vs. 150mph is two different worlds.
