storm has turned more into Cuba ...eye is half off the coast, so close to official landfall...just a few miles more south..then keeps west, itll crumble over Cuba...

It’s slowed a bit obviously - I think there’s a wobble north. Maybe getting to the famous north turn moment. Or just a wobble. I’m done trying to understand this storm for tonight. Going on 8 hours sleep in 2 nights.

We can rebuild Cuba, put a couple of Trump Towers in downtown Havana.

Irma just went up to a Cat 5 again with much of the circulation over Cuba. Lord help us when it is over the Florida Straits. Look at the intensification of the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane in the same region. Irma is already a Cat 5 before moving into it.

Oh WOW!...not at all surprised she’s back up to cat 5.....the eye wall bumping along Cuba’s coast hasn’t done squat....some are saying she’s gone inland but I’m not getting anything on that.
