Barbuda’s PM was on the other island. He got back there and reported one death with 90% of housing destroyed.
Population (I read) was 300. Police Station roof came off and police went to fire station to survive. Obviously there were some shelter buildings that provided shelter for the small population.
Well the good news, is that Barbuda, compared with Antigua is not nearly as populated.
Barbuda has about 1,300 inhabitants compared to about 90,000 for Antigua.
