Kaepernick is 100% the reason why I didn’t watch a single play last year. Except for the few plays I was unpleasantly exposed to at my brother’s house on Thanksgiving.
And I won’t be watching this year either. Not a single play. For the same reason.
I watch football not some political commentary for gays, illegals, minorities. They want to talk about that fine, I will not watch.
It actually wasn’t Kaepernick’a protest itself, but the league’s failure to punish his disrespect of America, and boldly state that any such actions in the future will result in player suspensions for the remainder of the season. Had they done that, attendance and viewership would have increased.
Well at least the Cats won today.
