Did Trump have a clue, when he ran for President, that he was dipping his toe into the Slough Of Despond? Only it’s not the weight of Trump’s sins dragging him under; it’s the sins of the GOPe.
I’ve thought about that also. I believe Trump was under the impression that by the force of his nature, the will of his personality, or with his can-do spirit, that he could bring this Congress along to push his agenda and restore our country.
It’s unforgivable that the UniParty is what he found instead, and entrenched against him. Truly a swamp.
