House Speaker Paul Ryan on Friday gave a major boost to legislative efforts to preserve protections for young undocumented immigrants -- and urged President Donald Trump to not tear up the program. Trump told reporters Friday he was still mulling the decision. The White House press secretary said a decision would be announced Tuesday.
Responding to a question about Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, on his hometown radio station WCLO in Janesville, Wisconsin, Ryan said Congress was working on a legislative fix to preserve the program.
"I actually don't think he should do that," Ryan said of Trump's consideration of terminating the program. "I believe that this is something that Congress has to fix."
Ryan's statement offers the most public support by anyone in the Republican congressional leadership for some sort of legislation to protect the "Dreamers" under DACA.

If he really believes he’s better off with less white people around, why didn’t he build a mansion in Compton or inner-city Detroit instead of having one in 96% white Torch Lake?

What might be in the future is irrelevant to the now. Currently wgite Americans comprise about 74% of the population.
I suspect better job prospects & finances will make them more likely to have more kids.
Washington DC has been in the shi! house for close to 60 years. And it does not matter if Democrats or Republicans. They are so damn corrupt that it is becoming close to a revolution. Maybe the civil was should be the people vs Washington DC. Just look at Ryan, McConnell, Sessions, etc.

I’ve thought about that also. I believe Trump was under the impression that by the force of his nature, the will of his personality, or with his can-do spirit, that he could bring this Congress along to push his agenda and restore our country.

DACA should go. It is totally without merit and serves no purpose except for a hideaway to felons and a few gang members. The rest of these students can stand on their own two feet without DACA like everyone else.
