Actually, Matha’s Vineyard has a summer enclave, in Oak Bluffs, that has been home to wealthy black families forever. Some friends and I took a tour of some of the homes and they were owned by doctors,lawyers and a few ex-military officers. Stunning is the word that comes to mind.
