Are you kidding me?? Campy waste of A-list talent on a boring movie.
I totally agree, Some Like It Hot sucks! But these 'film critics', as they like to fashion themselves, love transvestism, think it is wonderful and hilarious and all that...another movie that sucked! but got rave reviews from the 'critic's was that 'Bird Cage' with Robin Williams...really horrible. What happened to 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World'? One of my favorite comedies; or how about Animal House? Guess there was not enough homosexuality and deviance in those movies for the 'critics', huh?

Indeed. WAY funnier than some of the losers in the BBC list.
Also, the national lampoon “vacation” movies are some of the funniest ever made.

You have it wrong. Transvestitism used to be played for laughs, and thus should be totally UN-PC to watch SLIH (and, they were doing it as disguises, not because they like being women), or Uncle Miltie or Flip Wilson (gasp! A black guy making fun of women/transvestites?).
