How many times has a Leftist avoided the SS to the point where he could get within range and crank off a round? These listed are the noted active examples of violent hostile action, not intent, carried though to a conclusion. This required an actual attack to make the list. How many did I miss? (I don't recall any Republicans carrying Obama's bloody head on national TV... Apparently, only Leftist hatred is strong enough.)

OK ... I just did a bit of my own research. The nutjob that killed Garfield was one of Garfield's own supporters ... and had been a supporter of Grant. Yes, he hung out with the Oneida Community (utopians), but left them. Trying to paint him as a leftist is more than a bit of a stretch. He was pissed off because the Garfield administration wouldn't give him a patronage job. And trying to paint Hinckley as a leftist is nutjob-conspiracy-theory territory.
